The last song Incubus played (on March 9, 2008, Araneta Coliseum).
Wala lang. Sakto lang. What a way to end it. REALLY. ♥

I have yet to watch the movie, but it's supposed to be a real nice indie film. (Hmmm DVD?) I heard sooo much about the soundtrack before I even got to hear about the movie itself. Haha.

If the Juno soundtrack was happy perky highschool love, this one is full of folky indie love. ?

Eh. Basta. Haha. Falling Slowly is one of my favorites. :)

Progress, changing
Growing then giving up
Somehow we're never quite prepared
But I understand it

Or, I think, at least I should.

The lyrics and the melody say more than I ever could with my own useless, strung together words.

Akon's I Wanna Love You, non-hiphop, little more pop/rock* version.
*Not bubblegum pop, but you know it's got that mainstream appeal. Not hardcore rock, but rock enough for me not to hate it. ;p

I just like it because it's interesting. And catchy. And way less annoying than Akon's whining. Hahaha. :)

3 of my favorite House songs (or "beach music" as I call them) as of now.

*Flying Away, especially this particular version, is loooooove. :)
*Here I Am is also part of the Devil Wears Prada soundtrack, FYI lang.

Amy Winehouse says so. Who am I to argue? ;p

I just got myself a copy of her album, Back to Black, and it's something I didn't think I'd like -- but I did! And I can't get enough of it! Favorite song from the album (as of the moment) is this one, Love Is A Losing Game.

I'm a sucker for beautiful sad songs. :)

A song from The Virgin Suicides movie. :)
The movie is Sofia Coppola's take on the book of the same title. Sexy, sad and beautiful. With a kickass soundtrack to boot! Perfect combination. ;)
This is one of the songs, practically the movie's theme song. Loooovely.

I’m a high school lover, and you’re my favorite flavor
Love is all, all my soul
You’re my playground love

Yet my hands are shaking
I feel my body remains, themes no matter, I’m on fire
On the playground, love.

You’re the piece of gold the flushes all my soul.
Extra time, on the ground.
You’re my playground love.

Anytime, anyway,
You’re my playground love.

...Can he swing from a web? No he can't; he's a pig. Look ooooout! He is a SpiderPig!
=D

2 versions:
1st, the one in the movie with Marge
2nd, an orchestra and choir version of sorts, which I got from KC.
3rd, the one in the movie, but just Homer. :)

...if I had heard it BEFORE a gay (gay-haired) little Indian American Idol contestant came and ruined it for all of us.
but thanks to Sanjaya Malakar and his horrible hair, I don't.

It's actually a cool song. I just can't help but visualize the kid everytime I hear it. And that "pony-hawk"! Oh GOD.

*I'm not a loser. I know A.I.'s long been over. It's just that I heard the original version the first time yesterday so... Forgive the retro-Sanjaya upchuck.

4 versions of You Really Got Me by The Kinks, Van Halen, Eve 6, and yeahhh even Sanjaya Malakar.

Enjoy! *rolls eyes*

And I thought it was only between Sade and Urbandub!
Over the weekend I got to listen to the Deftones' take on this song. Ohh! Smoooooth, but still rockin'. It's somewhere in between the slow Sade original and the more hyped up Urbandub remake. :)
